Julie Lemond brings nearly three decades of educational leadership experience to the Fitzgerald Public School District. She previously served in Michigan districts as a Chief Academic Officer, MISD School Improvement Consultant, Grant Writer, Curriculum and State and Federal Grants Consultant and elementary and middle school teacher.
Lemond has also recently served as an Executive Director of Implementation/Education Partnerships for a K12 National School Improvement Partner responsible for the development and maintenance of effective implementation practices and protocols to improve operating quality and efficiencies, measurement of performance and results for increased student achievement.
She has served on the Michigan Department of Education’s High School Reform Advisory Committee and as adjunct professor at Saginaw Valley State and Oakland University focusing on curriculum and leadership. Lemond has served on several boards including the Warren Consolidated School Board and the Michigan Association of State and Federal Program Specialists Executive Board (MAS/FPS).
