About Us
Mound Park Upper Elementary is one of three elementary schools in the Fitzgerald Public School District. We service fourth- and fifth-grade students. Mound Park is located on Toepfer Rd. just west of Mound Road. Currently we service more than 360 students and our numbers are growing. At Mound Park we believe that students are individuals who learn at different rates through different styles. We are committed to providing the environment and instruction for all students to achieve success. Members of the Mound Park staff continuously work hard to ensure success for every child. To maximize student learning and 21st Century Skills we have implemented a 1:1 Chromebook initiative. Our outstanding teachers demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching. The commitment to our students is their number one priority.
Our parent group, Parents of Mound Park (P.O.M.P.), is a highly active group that creates opportunities for students, parents and staff to engage in activities that build meaningful relationships. At Mound park we are a family, a community – You are always welcome at “THE PARK.”
