Senior Citizen Prom – 2017

On Thursday, April 27th, senior class members served as hosts and dance partners for more than 200 area senior citizens!

St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon – 2017

On Friday, March 17, the Fitzgerald Public Schools – Community Relations Committee sponsored a St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon for the Fitzgerald senior citizens. There were approximately 80 in attendance such as Mayor Jim Fouts, Senator Steve Bieda, and State Representative Patrick Green.  The gathering was hosted by the Board of Education’s Community Relations Committee. Good food, good conversation and good information along with a raffle and bingo were shared by all. For more information regarding future senior citizens’ activities, call 586.757.1750.

On Friday, February 11, 2011, the Fitzgerald Public Schools Community Relations Committee sponsored a Valentine Breakfast for Dinner Event for our community senior citizens.  Nearly one hundred people attended.  They enjoyed watching, catching, and eating flying pancakes! The breakfast was prepared for our seniors by Chris Cakes of Michigan.  The group also enjoyed presentations from FPS Superintendent Barbara VanSweden; State Representative Lesia Liss; Senator Steven Beida; Keith Nelson, Deputy District Director from the Office of Representative Sander Levin; Mayor James Fouts from the City of Warren; Warren Parks & Recreation Director Henry Bowman; and Warren Miller Librarian Cindy Knecht.
