Ms. Borton's 2nd graders use new Benchmark materials during small group instruction. After reading the book students write key details to share to their group.

Our Communications Director is worried for her job- it seems some students are really creative! Can you spot the fake? - The image on the right was created by a student and circulated which means that some of our students sadly missed out on a day of education. Always know that if we close school- it will be texted to parents, emailed to parents, posted on District Facebook pages and listed on news channels. Please make sure to verify one of these sources before taking the bite…. While we create this post in fun - we take education seriously and want all of our students in attendance!

Monday's Board Meeting was filled with the fantastic things going on around Fitzgerald!

We celebrated Board Appreciation Month!
-Each of our buildings donated items to thank and decorate the room
-Chatterton presented Mud Balls - they explained their process and gifted one to each of the Board Members!

We are so grateful for the all the Fitzgerald Board of Education does for Fitzgerald Students and Families!!
