Academics/Counseling
The Counseling Department assists students with academic planning, career concerns, family problems, student-student concerns, student-teacher concerns and testing information. Counselors also consult with parents and teachers and make referrals to other social agencies.
Students are assigned to a counselor alphabetically and by grade.

Transcripts
Transcripts for students applying to colleges and universities are available electronically for alumni of Fitzgerald High School. To request your transcript to be delivered to a college or university electronically you will need to do so from the Parchment Website.
The link above provides you with the ability to request transcripts for college and universities through Parchment. Transcripts requested online are sent securely to the colleges and universities that you select. You may track your request online. You will also receive an email notification when we approve your transcript request and again when your transcript is delivered.
There is no fee for current students to request a transcript. If currently enrolled students are charged a fee, exit out of parchment and contact the counseling office. Do not pay the fee.
Wayne State C2 Pipeline
Students looking for new ways to get involved and enhance their learning should check out C2 Pipeline. Afterschool programming operates for a total of 22 weeks during the academic school year. Fitzgerald High School is one of 19 centers offering this program. Sessions run for two and a half hours daily, Monday through Thursday. During this time, students are served dinner or a snack and also have a chance to participate in the academic center and enrichment. Please see your counselor for more information.
Xello
Xello is an internet-based career exploration and planning tool that students will use to explore career and college options to develop a career plan. An EDP (Educational Development Plan) will be completed and updated every year through Xello. Xello is accessible for students via Google App when logged in to their school email account.
